The folks at Food Blogger Pro wondered what top food bloggers will focus on in the coming year, so they asked.
A free e-book for food bloggers
Now you can read these food bloggers’ Number 1 priority answers in this free downloadable ebook. You’ll see that many want to focus on quality content. (Answers like that always bring out the smart ass in me, as in “Wait, you’ve been creating inferior content?” So I like to see exactly what they mean. There’s lots of specifics, fortunately.) Others want to Pin more, learn video, and grow their email lists –that’s a big concern due to social media platforms like Facebook changing the rules on accessing readers and fans.
The free ebook is a quick read and will give you some jumpstart your own food blogging plans. As Bjork quoted at the beginning of the ebook:
“It is not that we have too little time to do all the things we need to do, it is that we feel the need to do too many things in the time we have.” — Gary Keller
Three more things worth mentioning:
- Sign up now for Food Blogger Pro or get locked out. Food Blogger Pro is a membership group that helps you start, grow and monetize your food blog. Bjork and Lindsay Ostrum will cap membership November 19, 2015 and limit enrollment to twice a year. So if you’ve been procrastinating about joining, now is the time. A $29 monthly membership includes full access to the community forum, training videos, and a nutrition label generator. I am an affiliate and member and have read and benefited from the high-quality advice on SEO, building traffic, using tools and generating income. Bjork and Lindsay have been very successful and open about their methods. If you purchase I will earn a small commission. Shave off a few bucks with this coupon.
- Five years of membership for free. You can win a five-year membership to Food Blogger Pro (a $1395 value).
- Educate yourself with free podcasts. Listen to Food Blogger Pro’s free podcasts, where Bjork interviews big bloggers about how they got there. You’ll get insights and ideas on how to make your blog more successful. There’s even a podcast with me, called How to Find Your Voice and be Heard in a Noisy World. I’ve been getting lots of positive feedback on Twitter and in person at last weekend’s BlogHerFood conference, so I hope you’ll listen. See links to more free podcasts with big bloggers by reading the Food Blogger Pro blog. They are completely free and do not expire.
